I like the chapter also a lot. Currently it feels like a very character-driven story about how Kira changes through the 3 weeks of slave-training. And this chapter still feels like part of the introduction and does as such, what I suppose it to do: It raises the stakes, gives a deeper understanding ...

Just the right amount of tension and relief, setup and payoff to make Marie's gradual acceptance of her submissive side believable and perceptible. You really do a great job in avoiding the multifold of pitfalls that trying to convey this feeling brings and deliver on point.
