I've almost finished part 10, and will have it up soon - possibly tomorrow (Tuesday).

That's the end of what I've written up to this point. The remaining parts - three or four? - will come out as quickly as possible, but I don't know exactly when. Fear not, I will finish this story!

Two things:
1. my job is in the process of eating me alive for the next few days
2. part 10 is pivotal, and I changed a part of the plot, so I'm rewriting it in order to make sense

So yes, the usual... I hope to have it up this weekend!

I really like this story, definitely one of my favorites on this site.

Part 14 is posted; next up is a bit of a digression I'm calling 14.5 - I think you'll all like it, and it's the last detour before I pick up the main story again in part 15. 14.5 is coming along well, I'm certainly enjoying writing it Hopefully it will be out very soon.

I'm guessing this freakin' novella will wrap up in part 18? Then it's on to Big Sky Country.

It's a shame that GentlemanMariner isn't posting anything anymore.
The stories were all great, and I'm sure many people would love to read something new. We're all waiting for Big Sky Country.
I hope that there are no other reasons for the sudden end to the posts and that he is doing well. If that's the case, maybe he'll find some time to post new stories again.

I don't know if Mariner still comes by to read these comments, but I gotta leave them all the same to feel right with myself. I adore your writing. It has been a thrill and inspiration that I needed for my own creative work, and this HCI-verse you've built will be keeping me returning to read again and again for years to come.

Hopefully this isn't the end of these tales, but even if it is, I am so glad we all got to enjoy them for existing at all.
